Reflecting On Friendship

I recall the first time Chris and I met the Tacketts in a Sunday School class. Preston was outgoing & friendly. Leslie's shyness around new people came across as standoff-ish and rude! The true Leslie, though, is a firecracker!

We all easily became best friends and while we lived in the same town we did everything together...even shared an expected due date for our firstborn daughters!

The Tacketts got to meet sweet Elisha a few days before our Kyleigh joined the world. Right away our girls became friends, too...they were instantly little baby BFFs!

When we got KyKy a Bumbo and saw how much she loved it, we just had to get one for Elisha, too! As the girls outgrew their chairs, ours was passed on to another couple with a daughter, and unbeknownst to us Elisha's was stored in a closet. With Josiah needing a Bumbo, we looked for good deals, then missed a chance to get one at 1/2 off last month, so we kept searching.

Then the sweetest thing happened--Preston and Leslie (who live far away in Ohio now) offered to send theirs for Josiah to put to use!

K
yleigh was so excited for her brother to receive his gift that she ran over and kissed him! She tried it out, too, and ultimately decided he fit best in the "baby chair" and she fit best in her "big girl chair" to watch Baby Einstein together!

Josiah's loving his Bumbo, and we're glad to see him growing in his independence and his sitting skills! Thanks P, L, & E!
We are so blessed by your friendship!
