Chattanooga

After our trip to Ohio we drove to Chattanooga, TN on Monday for Chris to attend a business meeting on Tuesday. As I mentioned in a previous entry, driving directly from OH saved road time, and we appreciate that the company let us use Chris's hotel arrangements to include our family of four. (The company didn't mind getting more for their money than having just 1 guest because it was a huge suite with a livingroom and dinette area--very comfy!)

While Chris was in the looongest business meeting, the kids and I visited the Tennessee Aquarium in Chattanooga. We were all bummed that Daddy couldn't go with us, but we enjoyed exploring the wonders of the aquarium for sure!

My fearless girl, touching a stingray!

Little man was mesmerized by fish overhead!

Wow, Chris's meeting was so long that we finished our tour, drove back to the hotel for lunch, and from our little hangout spot in the lobby still heard the meeting continuing on in the boardroom! When the corporate event was over, Kyleigh was soooo excited to see her daddy (Josiah was asleep) and we finally got to drive back to BG. We don't like BG any more than when we left, we were just excited to sleep in our own beds!

Different than anticipated, Chris didn't get any time off the next day (Wednesday), but instead had to go into work. He won't get another day off until sometime into next week so it's going to be a long few days, but we're thankful for the vast amount of unexpected family time we've had in the past couple weeks--certainly a nice treat.
