We didn't expect carpet to be installed in our rental house for a couple weeks, but it's going to be installed on Tuesday...which is unexpectedly awesome. It's great because Chris has made further progress than he anticipated with other home preparations (patching/sanding/painting), so the timing is great and keeps us from spending a couple more weeks apart!

We can't move our furniture in until the carpet is done. We don't want carpet installed until painting is done. Therefore, painting must get done by Monday. (Specifically, we want painting finished in carpeted rooms...just to avoid any chance of specks getting into the new carpet...bathrooms and utility room can wait to be painted after carpet is installed). Aside from the bathrooms & utility room which can wait, all that's left to paint is the trim in each carpeted room. And fortunately Chris will be off work Sunday & Monday and has two friends coming over to help, so they should be able to knock out the painting of the baseboards, door frames, and window frames. I think Chris wants to paint the interior doors as well, but those can always be removed and painted at a later date if time does not allow for it now.

So I guess we're moving soon. And I guess that means I need to get packing!
